Apr 15 A luxurious & intimate wedding in Villa d'Este Lake Como Italy | Shirley & Chloe

We had the pleasure to fly to Lake Como for a dream wedding of Shirley & Chloe. It was in a stunning location with beautiful details, intimate and touching moments, and with the couple’s closest family and friends celebrating their love.

We started with a getting ready which is one of my favourite part of the wedding day, where we get to enjoy the moment feeling a little nervous for the ceremony. Some brides would practice the vows at this moment. The maid of honor helps Shirley into her wedding gown & accessories.

After the getting ready we had some time to do some bridal portraits at the staircase of the beautiful Villa d’Este.

Another favourite moment is of course Shirley holding her father’s arm to walk down the aisle, then the vows exchange for Shirley & Chloe.

I remember the ceremony originally was supposed to be in the morning, but because of the weather it has rescheduled to the sunset hours. Luckily the sun came out for the ceremony. It was these moments that I realise having a wedding planner or a coordinator is very important to help making the decision and contact the vendors involved so that the day can run smoothly.

After the touching ceremony, the guests enjoyed welcome drinks and the reception dinner started. There were touching speeches and everyone had a great time.

The night ended with a cake cutting session with fireworks, then an after party. The night couldn’t be more perfect! Congratulations again for the beautiful couple. Thanks again for having us!
